MELON were lucky enough to organise the re-launch of the television programme Fifth Gear for the History Channel and A+E Networks.
An early start was had by all of the MELON team and the lucky guests. Fortunately for them MELONs Katie met them with plenty of goodies (mainly of the edible variety) to keep their weary minds at ease.
As Katie and the 30 guests were speeding along the rail-track from St. Pancras station to Corby Station, Laura and her work experience helper James were in their van heading to the circuit ready to dress the venue and make any final preparations.
9.30am came and so did a bus full of excited guests, the Delorean and celebrity host Tiff Needell. Tea, Coffee and further treats awaited them in one of Rockinghams’ executive suites, where they were shown several promo videos, had a Q&A session with Tiff and delegated their activities for the day.
Those activities includes;
– Off-road driving,
– Super-car driving,
– A Pit lane challenge and,
– A skid-pan passenger experience.
After a leisurely lunch the guests were split into their teams and taken off for their several experiences. They were then not seen for several hours until they returned with ear-to-ear beaming smiles, like children in a sweet shop.
Every guest left with a MELON goody bag, filled with small treats for their return journeys home.
The following day we received this feedback from our client:
“It was a pleasure working with MELON. The track day event at Rockingham to promote our new show Fifth Gear on History was a huge success.
We received fantastic feedback from all – they felt that the event was highly enjoyable and extremely well organised, so many thanks to the MELON team in helping make this event a success.” A+E Networks
Yippee another happy client!
