The Gherkin and The Trafalgar St. James differ in a number of ways, but they are both landmarks of power and prestige. Similarly, the Four Seasons Hotel has a reputation not to be messed with. A central city location, right by the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the River Thames – the historic building was once the headquarters of the Port of London Authority, offering both the UN Ballroom (the setting for the inaugural reception of the United Nations General Assembly in 1946) and the Merchants Hall (a glowing circular ballroom with a sense of traditional warmth.)
